While designing the family house, we took inspiration from the adjacent limestone outcrops. Limestone is formed through the process of sea layering at the sea ground for millions of years. The building reflects this idea, as it is a new layer in itself. As well as, building on the grounds of remains of an old barn. Creating an attractive tension between the old and the new.
